What We Are Looking For:

We are looking to hire an inspired team member to join our fast-paced, energetic development team. We are seeking engineers that truly understand the Email development at its core, know it’s quirks, and have a proven track record of building custom Email templates at the enterprise level. Responsible for many aspects of an email campaign including, HTML/CSS build, requirements authoring, data integration, test planning, test execution, and implementation.

Projects range from traditional landing pages, email and data collection campaigns, sweepstakes and e-commerce websites, etc.

Requirements:

Strong coding skills in HTML 5.0, JS, and CSS required, including table-based HTML and media queries as they pertain to responsive email design
Experience with CSS and media queries; understanding of their limitations within email.
Ability to QA email to ensure they adhere to best practices, and are fully localized and optimized.
Experience with Litmus (or similar) testing software
Thorough understanding of major email clients: Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo!, Apple Mail; their quirks and possessing the ability to quickly identify & troubleshoot rendering issues
Knowledge of major ISPs, email marketing, and anti-spam technologies is a plus
Knowledge of primary SEO elements and tools such as Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools, structured data, tracking pixels, click events, A/B Testing, and metadata.
Strong understanding of UX and UI Design Principles for websites and mobile apps.

Ability to communicate technical ideas to non-technical colleagues

Enthusiasm for working in an organization where change is frequent, structure is evolving, and flexibility, teamwork, and good humor are absolute necessities.

Bonus:

Experience with marketing technologies such as Pardot and/or Mailchimp
Experience with WordPress / Sitecore
Experience with Shopify / Drupal / Joomla / Magento

Essential job functions:

Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
Develop emails and web pages using standard HTML/CSS and JS practices
Ensure email functionality works within a variety of browsers, email clients and devices
Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.

Update existing client sites
