Woosh Beauty enters the scene.

The Challenge

Woosh® Beauty knew women would love its time-saving products, such as the Fold Out Face palette, which replaces an entire makeup bag, or its revolutionary roll-on eyeliner wheel. However, as a new brand, Woosh struggled with getting women to try its innovative products. It was up to DX to determine the best way to build awareness and encourage product trial.

The Solution

DX formulated a strategy to reach women via the medium that informs their beauty decisions: social media. By performing an in-depth social audit and competitive analysis, DX identified organic social content and paid social ads to best drive brand awareness, get women to try the products, and ultimately convert them into loyal purchasers. To further support digital sales, DX optimized the brand’s Shopify user experience and CRM email program.

Custom Content

It was key for Woosh® Beauty to use video footage to demonstrate its mission to bring women easy-to-use beauty products and tools to simplify their routines. DX organized a series of shoots, both off-site and in-house, that highlighted how to use each product. These shoots were executed from start to finish by the DX video and creative teams. This included ideating, directing, casting, styling, and producing.

Shade Finder

Picking a shade online created a major barrier for anyone interested in purchasing Woosh’s primary product, the Fold Out Face Palette. To solve for this, DX designed and developed a shade finder landing page that let users browse real photos of women wearing the shades in order to easily find their perfect match.
