National Geographic Books is known for top-quality journalism and world-class photography. They’re committed to publishing physical products for both adult and youth audiences, but need to compete in an increasingly digital world.
DX was tasked with creating a year-long strategy to drive engagement and promote sales through National Geographic’s digital storefront.
Leveraging iconic National Geographic imagery, DX created paid and organic content across highly engaging social platforms promoting relevant titles and driving book sales. With targeted titles like “100 Parks, 5,000 Ideas” and “Blue Zones Challenge,” DX was able to target and engage specific audiences across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Tik Tok to generate excitement around these newly launched titles and drive audiences to the National Geographic storefront on Amazon.com for purchases. Our collective work is seen my millions every month.
DX also worked closely with National Geographic’s PR team to create a synergistic organic social media content strategy to help promote new titles, authors and timely earned media messaging.
Together we Launched 27 adult and children’s titles in 2021. Additionally, we have significant increases YoY in ROAS, CTR and social engagements with customers.
