For over 80 years, Zep has been one of the foremost authorities and producers of cleaning products with a mission of making the planet safer, cleaner and more productive.
Despite their global footprint and industry-leading position, their e-commerce capabilities were suboptimal. As sales cycles and purchasing behaviors have changed dramatically, Zep realized a need to reimaging the user experience for efficiency, aesthetics and ease of use.
DX redesigned and developed the site experience for both consumer and professional audiences across the U.S. and Canada. Within a responsive theme, the DX Development and Design teams styled and coded templates for the Homepage, Product and landing pages for desktop and mobile. Over 15,000 SKUs were then migrated into the new site creating a fully optimized best-in-class e-commerce site across one domain. DX also was mindful to integrate a best-in-class CRM experience for customers. DX designed and deployed Welcome Pop-Ups capturing email addresses and re-established email automations for new users and cart abandonments.
